Assessment scenarios
Start with the election’s responsibilities.
Assessment scenarios for institutions and membership organizations considering supervised, controlled election technology.
An audience label is not an approval. Explore how eligibility, authority, accessible participation and reviewable evidence shape a SEVA requirements discussion. SEVA is pre-release and is not suitable for a live election.
Institutions
Start with the election’s responsibilities.
An assessment scenario, not an approved deployment.
Student elections begin with clear eligibility.
Assess student representation elections through roll preparation, ballot review and supervised participation.
A nonprofit election needs accountable governance.
Prepare a requirements discussion for organization elections without mixing them with fundraising or public popularity votes.
Organizational elections need a defined mandate.
Assess controlled internal elections with clear authority, eligibility and evidence responsibilities.
Institutional elections require more than a ballot screen.
Assess education-sector representation elections through authority, controlled operations and accessible review.
Membership is an eligibility decision, not a login.
Assess association and membership-body elections with clear roll ownership and supervised participation.
Different jurisdictions. A controlled local model.
Assess operational and governance needs across locations without implying remote internet voting or regulatory approval.
A governed purpose
Identify the decision being made, who may participate, who has authority to approve rules and who can examine the evidence. A public awards campaign and a supervised institutional election have different requirements.
People and controlled locations
Student bodies, education institutions, nonprofits, organizations and membership associations may have different rolls and operating constraints. Each scenario requires trained staff, accessible supervised locations and an agreed exception process.
A defined ballot and evidence plan
Prepare positions, candidates, selection limits and the review process before discussing technology. Define the paper and reconciliation responsibilities, observer access and retention arrangements rather than assuming software supplies governance.
Assessment before availability
Use these scenarios to prepare questions and a controlled rehearsal plan. None describes a deployed client, a certified election or a guaranteed supported voting rule. Current implementation and independent testing gaps must be reviewed before any proposed pilot.
Request consultation
Scope before commitment
Assessment only. Not yet suitable for any live election. Deployment and operation require authorized SparkGlim Security and Technical Teams.
Country context guides the consultation. It does not establish jurisdictional approval, regulatory compliance or product availability.
