Supervised election assessment

Student elections begin with clear eligibility.

Assess student representation elections through roll preparation, ballot review and supervised participation.

A student election may involve several positions, an institution-owned electorate and limited polling time. SEVA can be discussed as a controlled-election architecture; it remains pre-release and unsuitable for live use.

An assessment scenario, not an approved deployment.

Who can vote, and who decides?

The institution and election authority define eligible students, the authoritative roll and how duplicate or disputed entries are resolved. A student identifier or campus email alone does not establish an implemented eligibility integration.

Positions and candidate review

Prepare the positions, actual candidate records, ballot order and permitted selections. Decide how information is approved and corrected before sealing; do not promise unsupported preferential, proxy or weighted voting rules.

A supervised polling plan

Plan accessible check-in and separate ballot-marking stations with trained workers and a clear route to resolve exceptions. Kiosk approval and voter eligibility are distinct; a public web link is not a substitute for this controlled environment.

Close, reconcile and learn

Specify observers, paper-evidence handling, authorized closing and result review. Begin with requirements assessment and mock elections using controlled records. No campus deployment, capacity figure or election-readiness acceptance is established by this scenario.
